I know you guys have seen all over Pinterest about setting a bowl of vinegar in your microwave and zapping it for like 30 seconds or so & then it being SUPER easy to clean your microwave.....
Well, I have an easier tip for you today.
For the longest time now, my go-to cleaning spray has been watered down vinegar. I keep an old spray bottle in my cabinet and it's my go-to all purpose cleaner. Every now and then I'll add a splash of bleach to it or some dish soap or both but for the most part, it's just vinegar and water.

You "green" cleaners make me look bad.
I spray mine down with Lysol anti-bacterial kitchen cleaner. I do use vinegar to clean the coffee pot and garbage disposal though.
I've tried the vinegar in a bowl trick and it worked all right. I've also tried lemon juice in a bowl and it worked so much better.
I actually bought another spray bottle this weekend so I could have an extra bottle of vinegar water for cleaning. I plan on using up the last of my other household cleaners and then try to use more only natural cleaners like vinegar, baking soda, etc. :) They tend to be way cheaper too!

vinegar in a spray bottle is my go-to cleaner for sink tops, floor, and much more, but i'd never thought to give it a try on the microwave, thanks for the tip!

oh man I need to use this. I will go out of my way to avoid using the microwave just so food doesn't explode.
I love cleaning with vinegar! I use nothing but vinegar, baking soda and water to clean our bathtub and de-clog our sinks and it works better than any chemical cleaner I've tried.
Oh, how I love the power of vinegar! I also love warm 1 part blue Dawn to 1 part vinegar to clean the shower. Works like magic!
Oh my goodness, we should do this in my apartment!

I've always heard that vinegar and water is the best cleaner!
I'll definitely be trying this tonight. My boyfriend has destroyed my microwave by cooking fish in it without a cover. SO GROSS!
