Hey, Ho, It's Monday Don't You Know?!

Man, I am really bad at coming up with blog post titles lately.

I'm going to do a quick recap of our week and past two weekends since I was out of town for about a week.

First of all, we (the kids and I) went to Tennessee to watch my little sis graduate from college! YAY!!
She's the first person in the whole family (to include cousins and all) to be a college graduate.
So so proud of her!

Us!! Ignore my wet hair, it was pouring out.
And my outfit....well I asked Courtney what to bring/pack. She said "anything".
I was underdressed. If I'd had thought about it a bit more, I'd have packed something better but eh. I wasn't the least underdressed there and quite a few people dressed WAY WAY too fancy.
You win some, you lose some.

Mom hugs are THE BEST!

This one sums up how graduation was for us up in the stands. HAHA!

So while we were up there, Fin missed school. He missed Ma Spa Day. I missed it.
His teacher had planned up a whole Mother's Day spa day for his class.
Even sent home a RSVP card and everything.
He informed me that there would be nail painting, hair fixing, massages and then reading books together.
It was the cutest, he was bummed to miss it and I was too.
So we took Ma Spa day with us to Tennessee!

You should all be super jealous of how great it was.

Thursday night we took the kids to a carnival they had on post-it was free rides the first night.
We ate funnel cakes, drank bitter lemonade. They ran out of ice around 6pm which was just awful for everyone.
 
(that fish died the next day)

Saturday it just poured all day.
David and Fin were going to go hunt in the woods for Big Foot but it rained all day. 
Yup, you read that right.

Sunday David changed my oil and spark plugs.
Then we went to a surprise party for a friend's birthday.
That was fun as well.
Long weekend.
